Financial Assistance Opportunities

The Florida School of Massage is accredited by COMTA (the Commission on Massage Therapy Accreditation) and is qualified to participate in the Title IV Federal Financial Aid programs (Title IV Code of Conduct).

FSM students may qualify for the following assistance opportunities:

  • Massage School Scholarships – FSM offers merit scholarships in the amounts of $500 and $1000. Qualified students must demonstrate financial need and an exceptional commitment and potential to provide massage as a vehicle for personal growth and empowerment. Financial Aid Application Process

  1. Request information and we will contact you to help you begin exploring the process of financing your education.
  2. Schedule a tour and initial interview with our admissions staff.
  3. Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) found at https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa. Our school code is 041299.
  4. Complete and submit a massage school program application with your $100 application fee. The application fee is non-refundable, but also does not expire. 
  5. Review and accept financial aid with Financial Aid Director.

  • Administrative Fee – $135
  • Books and Supplies – approximately $400.
  • MBLEx Exam Fee – $265.
  • Livescan background check – $80.
  • Florida Board of Massage Therapy licensure fee – $155.
  • Massage table (not required) – $500-$700.
  • A student’s personal living expenses.
  • Optional electives and workshops.
  • Any administrative fees associated with a student’s non-compliance with school attendance policies.
  • Service charges or late payment fees associated with a student’s payment plan agreement.
  • Tutoring fees.
  • Other State licensing fees.

**For Post 9/11 GI Bill® (Ch 33) students and VA Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment (Ch 31) students, our tuition policy complies with 38 USC 3679(e) which means Post 9/11 and Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment students will not be charged or otherwise penalized due to a delay in VA tuition and fee payments.

For eligibility consideration, a Post 9/11 GI Bill student must submit a VA Certificate of Eligibility (COE) and a Vocational Rehabilitation Student must provide a VAF 28-1905 form.
