Event Requests

Florida School of Massage offers Chair Massage as an outcall service- either licensed professionals or chaperoned student volunteers arrive on location with all materials needed to provide your group with relaxing, therapeutic massage. Chair massage can be a great attraction for your community event or corporate wellness offerings. Clients generally receive 10-20 minutes worth of work, so this service is great for groups.*

Some benefits of chair massage are that the massage session does not have to be done privately, or even indoors, clients can sit for massage in any setting- on the golf course, by the poolside, at a concert, in your office building- this massage practice is mobile and diverse. Chair massage is relaxing and can reduce pain and tension, increase range of motion, nearly all the benefits of a full massage session. Professional: $85 per therapist per hour and $35 nonrefundable admin fee. Licensed Massage Therapist travels to event to offer chair massage. Areas include Gainesville and surrounding areas (travel depends on therapists’ availability- travel charges may apply)
Student: $95 per staff member per hour and $35 admin fee. A Licensed Massage Therapist attends event and supervises up to four students offering chair massage. The chaperoning LMT does not offer massage. Students participate in events on a volunteer basis therefore we cannot guarantee event coverage. If we do not have enough student interest to fulfill your event requirements, we recommend considering staffing professional therapists.
Other Options: Gift Certificates, FSM Sponsorship- if FSM is unable to accommodate the request for event participation, we may be able to offer Student Clinic gift certificates.

Cancellation Policy: We require 48 hours notice to cancel an event; cancelling within 24 hours of an event results in a $50 per therapist cancellation fee.
