Description:
In this 2 day, 16 hour class we discuss how to achieve deep relaxation and use gentle intentional stretching and traction as well as pin and stretch techniques to provide deep relaxation for the nervous system. We will discuss fight or flight and how to avoid it with pain-free deep tissue techniques. And most importantly communication to your clients about what to expect from these pain-free deep tissue techniques. We will also be adding aromatherapy to provide an additional layer of relaxation and nervous system regulation.
About the instructor
Amber graduated from Florida School of Massage in 2009. She is an LMT, Aromatherapist, Reiki Master, and Certified Meditation teacher. She has worked in many different settings including mobile massage, chiropractic, high end spa, and spent 2 years as the head of a massage program at a school in Jacksonville. She has been teaching continuing education courses since 2018 and has more than 10 approved courses.
