Workshop description:
This 16-hour course will focus on the muscles supporting the collarbone and upper shoulders. Massage therapists will learn the anatomy of the automatic nervous system and how to track both sympathetic and parasympathetic responses. The parasympathetic response allows the body and mind to integrate tension patterns easily. Students will learn to engage the parasympathetic response using a combination of applying percussion therapy with the theragun tool, breathing, movement, awareness, and intention. Upon completing this class, they will guide their clients in activating a parasympathetic response in their sessions and daily lives.
