Course Description
This is a Trauma Informed Trigger Point Therapy Training

Many of our clients come to us with hip pain that is really a glute problem. There are very specific places in the glutes that you need to soothe and release if you want to be effective, and I’ll teach you right where to go with your work.

As with any area of the body, we have to think outside the box. We can’t look only at the muscles that are calling out with pain. It’s important to see which muscles are pulling on the glutes and why, and then release those a little first, before even asking the glutes to let go.

Chronic stress is a big part of that picture, because so many of us clench our buttocks without realizing it, day after day, and those muscles can’t recover. As a trauma-informed practitioner, I’ll also share stress regulation practices that help your clients settle, so the tissue can let go and the work holds. This LIVE training covers all of it, with demos of hip work that can create immediate change, and plenty of supervised hands-on practice. Master this, and your clients will be telling everyone how you helped them get rid of that nagging pain in their butt!

Releasing the Glutes pairs beautifully with Releasing the Psoas and Quadratus Lumborum, taught the previous day. These two workshops together will give you skills you can immediately implement to help your clients with both hip and lower back issues. Register for both at the same time and save $30.

Included:

  • Expert training
  • Student handout with anatomy and trigger point pain referral pictures
  • Access to a dedicated Google Drive with a copy of my PPT and videos of each step of the treatment that you can watch after the training, including the guided breathing practices
