Workshop description:
In this 2-day class we will look at the importance of myofascial opening in the torso and lymphatic stimulation in the limbs during pregnancy. We will discuss changes to the body and how pregnancy affects the different systems, go over contraindications as well as cautions, and practice several moves in a well supported sideline position that will be great for all of your clients not just the pregnant ones.
You’ll have a 1 hour lunch from 1:00 to 2:00 You should bring two flat sheets and at least three to five pillows.
Class will consist of lecture demonstration hands-on practice and discussion.
About the Instructor
Amber graduated from Florida School of Massage in 2009. She is an LMT, Aromatherapist, Reiki Master, and Certified Meditation teacher. She has worked in many different settings including mobile massage, chiropractic, high end spa, and spent 2 years as the head of a massage program at a school in Jacksonville. She has been teaching continuing education courses since 2018 and has more than 10 approved courses.
