Workshop description:
When we touch another person we are communicating. The therapist receives sensory feeling information from the client and offers sensory feeling information to the client. This opens the door to possibilities of awareness and change. This class will focus on deepening the ability to both perceive and offer feeling to those we touch. Through the use of touch, inquiry and exploration we will deepen our skill to touch. This will be an experiential class, hands on and with movement, focusing on the interaction and engagement of the nervous system. The focus will be on how touch affects us both as therapist and client. The skills gained will be useful and applicable no matter what type of bodywork is practiced.
