Orthopedic and Sports Massage Certification

Description

In Understanding Shoulder Pain and Dysfunction we will dive deep into the shoulder girdle, glenohumeral joint, elbow and wrist anatomy (muscles, bones, joints, ligaments and other structures). In addition, we will teach you orthopedic tests and functional assessment protocols to help you provide a finer tuned treatment to your clients.

We will learn about common dysfunctions such as thoracic outlet syndrome, bursitis, rotator cuff injuries, frozen shoulder, epicondylitis and carpal tunnel syndrome.

A large part of this class will also include detailed instruction on advanced massage techniques to treat shoulder problems, with plenty of time to practice and receive guidance by instructors.

If you or your clients experience shoulder pain, discomfort or limited range of motion this Orthopedic and Sports Massage Certification course will better help you develop your skills and help you grow your practice.

You will receive a detailed manual for this course.

Understanding Shoulder Pain and Dysfunction is a 16 hour CEU Certified class

Investment:

$1899 (If registered for the six course series in advance)

$349 (if registering for each class Individually)

This course is part of the Orthopedic and Sports Massage Certification. These certification classes do not need to be taken in sequence and can be taken as single weekend educational trainings. If students complete all six courses they will receive a Certification in Orthopedic and Sports Massage.

Our 96 hour, six course certification will help our students gain a deeper understanding of soft tissue injuries, how to treat them and what causes them. We will use the study of the anatomy to get a wider comprehension of the musculature and other structures that support movement to enhance the students understanding of how function is achieved in the body. In addition, our courses will be based heavily around learning assessment protocols. These classes will deepen your understanding of injury and pain and advance your confidence to provide treatment to your clients.
