Workshop Description:
How can we help people get comfortable in their own skin in a way that is easy and will last? How can we affect patterns of holding that seem too old or deep to work without being too invasive?
Learn precise hands-on techniques which reconnect a client’s sense of being directly back to their joints to enhance relaxation, support, stability & movement. Ortho-Bionomy is an osteopathic discipline for helping the whole being by being specific in our contact, both with our clients and within ourselves. The methods facilitate changes to deep muscle without direct pressure, so are very effective in conditions where deep tissue work is contraindicated or not tolerated. The techniques in this class are easy on the therapist, gentle and non-invasive for the client, can be performed with clients fully clothed and will cover all the major joints.
