Workshop description:
This class offers a dynamic dimension to the positional release techniques of Ortho-Bionomy. Participants will learn to assess and open restrictions in the body by exploring through movement and palpation the preferred, inherent, and functional movement patterns of joints and muscles. Gentle techniques for sensing, assessing, and releasing tension and restrictive patterning are demonstrated and practiced.

- Open fascial restrictions gently and painlessly
- Facilitate greater range and ease of movement in joints
- Augment flexibility throughout the body
These techniques facilitate the release of pain and tension patterns, promote lymph flow, expanded range of motion, and a greater sense of well-being. This work is easy to learn, easy on your body, highly effective, and combines well with any massage and bodywork modality. This class has no prerequisites. Anyone may attend.
About the Instructor:
Luann Overmyer has over 40 years experience practicing and teaching Ortho-Bionomy and has trained and taught extensively in the field of body awareness, structural balance and wellbeing throughout the US, Australia, New Zealand and other countries throughout the world.
She is the author of the book Ortho-Bionomy: A Path to Self-Care that has already been translated into several languages.
She is an amazing teacher with an incredible depth of knowledge and experience. Her classes are engaging, informative, tremendously practical and really a lot of fun. You will leave with skills that you can use immediately in your practice.
