Siddha CranioSacral Workshops:

The work is practical introduction to the foundation theory and practice of Craniosacral Work (CSW). CSW is a form of gentle bodywork which grew out of Dr. William G. Sutherland’s work on Cranial Osteopathy.

The focus of foundations modules (I, II and III), is to develop perceptual insight, clarity, and inner awareness of primary respiration which becomes the foundation of our healing work. In each module we work with different set of primary bones to cultivate our awareness and insight of primary respiration and its potency.

We will be use classroom presentations to learn and understand the scope, theory and philosophical aspects of CSW. In-class demonstration and hands-on will follow the classroom presentations.

CranioSacral Foundations – II Description:

This intensive is an invitation to the learn and practice foundation aspects of Craniosacral Work (CSW). CSW is a form of gentle bodywork which grew out of Dr. W.G. Sutherland’s work on Cranial Osteopathy.  In this course you will learn:

• Definition and scope of CranioSacral work
• Anatomy, energetics, and motions of Core Link, Front and Parietal bones in context of CSW and Eastern medicine
• Hands-on work of Core Link, Frontal and Parietal bones based on
• Three middle channels of Daoist & Yogic Subtle body
• Working with Fluid tides and the “Breath of life”, which is the core aspect of this work
• Siddha Meditations to deepen our connection with Heart and subtle aspect of our being
• The focus is on deeply relaxing in the sacred space and developing perceptual insight, clarity, and inner awareness of primary respiration which becomes the foundation of our healing work

Prerequisites:

Anyone with basic understanding of human anatomy and has completed at least 100 hours of bodywork.
