While enjoying some early coffee on this incredible spring morning, reflecting the gifts that life brings. Id like to acknowledge the dedication and downright stubbornness of creating one’s own Destiny and maybe even what one might perceive as a making ones own miracles .

Knowing that of course we are just vulnerable beings spinning on this rock in space, I’d like to imagine that I have some input on my destiny for sanity’s sake and perhaps the moments in silent meditation, where the mind is clear enough to actualize the simple truth of the ever changing  moment to moment truth, I might become aware of desire. If that desire is rooted in the well-being of others, the universe will support the vision.

I believe that might be the element of a miracle in the process. The continuous deliberate first step in creating a miracle would be to know what it is we want and to have that desire be of service to our human family. I believe then the Cosmos will support us and doors will open and our job is to simply keep a clear eye and look ahead and walk towards the right direction.

This is a practice of life and when you practice it long enough, it becomes second nature.  Know what you want keep your eyes open and walk in the right direction.

in Buddhism there is a chant or what’s known as a mantra where we take refuge in triple gem. The word Buddha is the perfection of mind. The word dummha is a residing in truth and the word Sangha is the loving support of your community and family.

Buddha Saranam Gajami
Dammha Saranak Gajami
Sangha Saranam Gajami

I believe I’ve chanted this mantra every day now for at least 30 years. It is a powerful mantra that has helped me maintain the desire to walk toward Buddha nature and while in this present state, to sit with what is good and to have a kind supportive community around you that believe in the vision and support it. This might be the key to creating ones own miracles.

In May, I will be returning my seven month Thai-Massage program back to the Florida school of Massage. It feels like a miracle to be coming back full force sharing all that I’ve cultivated over the past 23 years. I am so thankful to all those who have helped me and supported me in my dreams and I hope that all of the hard work that has been put into developing these classes, bring fruition and joy to those who commit on the journey. The greatest gift in our lives is the ability to sit with each moment in gratitude and share peace.

My hope is that in the crazy political climate we find the things that give us peace and joy and we share them like tiny seeds being thrown on fertile soil.

May all beings be happy
