Spirals, circles, and cycles of movement inspire and shape a curiosity that influences me in life and in my teaching modality.
Though I was not someone who grew up with an ease around mathematics, I have grown to love the energetic and sacred component that is shapes and numbers in all things, but for me especially in touch.
Perhaps math is an art form as well. I wish i was taught that as a child.
I’ve just finished the journey of the seven month Thai Massage training with a group of dedicated Thai massage yogis and feel as if it is in some way my sabbath; it is my month to reflect the depth of gratitude and commitment it took for all of this to unfold.
Human beings thrive when they sit in circle and are heard. We thrive when we know we have support and safe community. Knowledge is more delicious than any dessert and wisdom is the cream of my morning coffee. Yes, i am grateful for all the spirals and circles and beauty Thai massage has brought to my life and as I journey to the north on my summer vacation, I also am germinating a new seed of intent. May these circles continue. May the beauty of human connection thrive in the heart of our beloved massage school.
Florida school of massage will be hosting the next cycle of three. We will meet for three months and create a triangle of knowledge that will, with practice, unfold into wisdom and beauty of the sacred geometry within Thai Massage. This cycle will, with great joy, continue. Please feel welcome to join me as we start anew on the beautiful journey.
