This creates an open pathway that helps your system integrate both current stress and long-held tension. When you guide your clients in activating this mechanism\, it enhances the effectiveness of any approach you use. Additionally\, it equips your clients with a long-term skill to reduce stress and pressure anytime\, anywhere\, making your job easier and improving their lives. \nThis 8-hour course will prepare massage therapists to recognize and engage the mechanism of the parasympathetic response in their clients. The parasympathetic response allows the body and mind to release and integrate tension. Students will learn to use their awareness\, support\, presence\, and language to facilitate parasympathetic responses. Students will learn the anatomy of the autonomic nervous system and how to track both sympathetic and parasympathetic states.
