Our Location

The Florida School of Massage is located in Gainesville. This growing city is a dynamic college town with three large hospitals, a college of health-related programs at Santa Fe Community College, and the University of Florida's Medical School and School of Veterinary Medicine. All possess extensive library facilities.

Gainesville is a progressive city with many opportunities to explore spirituality, health and wellness. The city features many yoga, tai chi and meditation classes, two colleges of Oriental medicine, a traditional midwifery school, four health food stores, several health clubs, and numerous massage therapists, psychotherapists, chiropractors and alternative health care practitioners.

Gainesville also offers numerous churches, temples and spiritual centers of every tradition. The city is close to the natural beauties of North Central Florida: state parks for hiking and camping, fresh cold water springs for tubing and canoeing, and even ‘mountain’ bike trails. The school itself is adjacent to the stunning Payne's Prairie Preserve - a 21,000 acre wildlife refuge.

From Downtown Gainesville:

Go south on 13th Street (Route 441) 1.5 miles past the intersection of Williston Road (Route 331). The school will be on the northbound side immediately following the intersection of 441 and SW 63rd Ave. Turn around at the next available u-turn (about 500 ft.) and make a right turn into the school parking lot.

From the North:

Take I-75 to exit 382 (Gainesville/Williston exit). Make a left turn at the end of the ramp at the traffic light and then make a right onto 34th Street/Rocky Point Road at the second traffic light. Follow this road to the end and make a right turn onto route 441. The school will be on the northbound side across from you. Turn around at the next available u-turn (about 500 feet) and make a right turn into the school parking lot.

From the South:

Take I-75 to exit 382 (Gainesville/Williston exit). Make a left turn at the end of the ramp onto Williston Road and then make a right onto 34th Street/Rocky Point Road at the second traffic light. Follow this road to the end and make a right turn onto route 441. The school will be on the northbound side across from you. Turn around at the next available u-turn (about 500 feet) and make a right turn into the school parking lot.

From Jacksonville, FL:

Take Route 10 West to Route 301 South. When you arrive in Waldo, follow signs for Route 24/Gainesville (exit is on the right). Route 24 will turn into Waldo Road. In about 15 miles, make a left turn at the traffic light onto Route 441 South (13th Street). In 1.5 miles the school will be on the northbound side immediately following the intersection of Route 441 and SW 63rd Ave. Turn around at the next available u-turn (about 500 ft.) and make a right turn into the school parking lot.
