Massage Therapy Program Home Page

Learn to be a Massage Therapist at our Massage Therapy School in Gainesville, Florida.

• Six month, 665 hour Therapeutic Massage and Hydrotherapy Program is offered 3 times a year beginning January, May, and September.
    
• Hands-on coursework includes extensive training in Swedish Massage Therapy, Reflexology, Connective Tissue Massage Therapy, Neuromuscular Therapy, Polarity Therapy, Sports Massage Therapy and Integrative Massage Therapy.
   
• Experiential anatomy and physiology, awareness and communication skills, business and ethics complement the massage therapy classes.
   
• Practice massage therapy treatments at our student-run massage therapy clinic provide students with opportunities for feedback and skill development.
   
• Optional electives in the area of massage therapy, personal empowerment, and movement give students the opportunity to broaden their horizons.

Successful Program Completion Leads to a Diploma and Qualifies the Student to:

• Sit for licensure in Florida State as a Massage Therapist.
    
• Sit for the National Certification Exam in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.
   
• Qualify for licensure in nearly all states. By creatively combining our 665 hour Massage and Hydrotherapy Program with a variety of advanced trainings, graduates of FSM have met the licensing requirements of most states.
