Admission Requirements
Applicants Must Meet the Following Requirements
- Be 19 years of age. This may be waived after a personal interview.
- Submit an application along with the following materials:
- A brief biographical sketch with the reasons you want to train as a massage therapist and your philosophy of health care
- A brief description of you as your best friend would describe you.
- An identifiable, original and recent photograph
- Your High School, GED, or College transcripts
- A $100 registration fee made payable to the Florida School of Massage.
- Receive at least three professional massage therapy treatments before the program begins. Documentation not required.
- Submit a $500 deposit four weeks prior to the start of the program to confirm enrollment. The deposit will be credited to your tuition balance.
- Submit a signed enrollment agreement as required by the Florida Commission for Independent Education.
- A telephone or personal interview with a school administrator may be required.
Transfer Credit
The Florida School of Massage may award credit and pro-rated tuition for previous academic work. The amount of credit is determined at the discretion of the administration.
Acceptance Dates
If there is space available, a student may be accepted for admission to the program any time prior to the beginning of a new class.
