The professional ethics and laws that guide our profession are constantly changing. Massage therapists have new situations, ethical, and legal challenges that are a reflection of our ever-changing society.
The benefit of a live interactive course is to share and support one another by hearing and learning from everyone’s personal experience and resolutions.
Come join me in hearing the most up-to-date current legal news and the professional ethical challenges that we all face.
This is a lively interactive and discussion-oriented class.
You will learn a lot and will have a lot of fun doing it.
Some of the pertinent topics that will be discussed are medical marijuana, the effects of having to be fingerprinted, gender evolution and changes and many more interesting new and stimulating ethical considerations. There will be time to bring up issues you would like to discuss.
The Florida Board of Massage Therapy requires that, prior to license renewal, all licensed massage therapists attend a two (2) hour class in Florida Statutes and Rules and a two (2) hour class in Professional Ethics. Join us for a fun and informative discussion of these topics AND get both of these continuing education requirements completed at one time.*
*If you need to complete your two (2) hour requirement in Medical Errors Prevention you’re in luck! That class will be offered on the same day. Information can be found here: May Medical Errors workshop
